It’s a huge week for Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page.

Not only will the actor grace Saturday Night Live with his presence this weekend, he’s also just been announced as the lead star in the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons movie.

Page, who plays the Duke of Hastings in Netflix’s smash hit period drama, will make his presenting debut on the American late night comedy show on Saturday evening, with rapper Bad Bunny joining him as the musical guest.

Though details of Page’s SNL stint will be kept under wraps until the weekend, we can certainly cross our fingers and hope for some form of Bridgerton parody sketch (perhaps in the same vein as Adam Driver’s Star Wars: Undercover Boss skit) to tide us over as we wait for a second series.

How to watch Saturday Night Live in the UK

The sketch show airs on NBC in the United States late on Saturday night, but episodes are then repeated on Sky Comedy the following evening, meaning that Sky customers can tune in to watch Page at 9pm. NOW TV subscribers can also stream the episode from then.

Otherwise, Page’s legions of British fans will have to wait for standout sketches to appear on the show’s YouTube account.

The actor, who grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe before moving to London as a teenager, was confirmed as the lead in the Dungeons & Dragons film on Tuesday.

He’ll star alongside the likes of Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez in the movie, which will be based on the table-top fantasy game.

The 31-year-old was recently nominated for the SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for his turn as Bridgerton’s Duke, marking his first major awards nod.
