Ronnie Pickering could join Celebrity Big Brother, according to reports.

Pickering, 54, – who is famed for his foul-mouthed YouTube rant at moped rider Steve Middleton – is a desired candidate, it has been reported.

A source told the Daily Mirror: “Bosses think sparks would fly if Ronnie enters the house.”

Pickering reportedly told the Mirror that he is unsure about joining the reality TV show, saying: "W.T.F. I don’t know about going on there. Would have to think about that one."

Pickering found fame on YouTube after a video was posted of him engaged in a bizarre road rage rant in which he asked Middleton: “Do you know who I am? I'm Ronnie Pickering”.

He also challenged Middleton to a "bare-knuckled fight".

The YouTube star later auctioned off his red Citroen Xsara Picasso to raise money for the L6ve Life Foundation an organisation set up by motor neurone disease suffer Lee Newton.

Speaking to Hull Daily Mail he said: "I am nothing like the guy you see on that video. I am a Hull lad – a normal guy you'd see walking down the street.

"I like to do things to help people. It's nice to be nice. If anything good can be done from what has happened, great. I just don't have a car anymore."
