This Morning viewers were left baffled after Rylan Clark-Neal forgot his entire script live on-air during an episode of This Morning.

After apologising for forgetting his lines, he proceeded to confuse viewers even further when he went on a rant about how he believes there are aliens living under London.

On social media, viewers shared their bewilderment with one writing: “Has rylan been sniffing glue.. what’s he on about!?” while another commented: "Rylan has been watching too much Doctor Who.”

As Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes asked Clark-Neal what gossip he would be sharing with them in Friday’s programme, he admitted he’d forgotten his lines.

“You know what? In the five minutes it’s taken me to get into the studio, I’ve forgotten what I’m talking to you about. Something about Freddie Flintoff!” he said.

Langsford and Holmes saw the funny side, telling their co-host, who they refer to as their ‘TV son’: At least you’re honest about it!”

Later in the programme Clark-Neal elaborated on his bizarre conspiracy theory that there are aliens living under London, after cricketer Freddie Flintoff’s revelation he believes the earth is flat.

“There are millions of underground tunnels and caves underneath the city that people don’t even know are there […] If the government, if you’d expect if they found something like a spaceship or a little man from Mars that they’d hide it in a field in Dorset or something.

“No. I think where is the last place you’d look for an alien? In the middle of Central London.”
