Sam Allardyce could be set to appear on the next series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Out of Here.

Allardyce lost his job as England boss this week after just one game following allegations of bending FA rules.

The former England manager had his contract terminated after 67 days when footage emerged appearing to show him telling undercover reporters acting as businessmen how to get around FA transfer regulations. He was also critical of his predecessor Roy Hodgson.

Allardyce has odds of 6/4 to head Down Under for a stint on the ITV reality TV show when it returns to screens in November.

He also has 2-1 odds to join the Celebrity Big Brother line-up in January 2017 and is 25-1 to be named the new Great British Bake Off judge alongside Paul Hollywood.

Coral’s Nicola McGeady told Standard Online: “With no football to think about right now, a new path might be beckoning for Big Sam and if the odds are anything to go by, a stint in the jungle might be on the cards.”

Rumours are swirling ahead of the series launch later this year, with Carol Vorderman reportedly set to sign up.

The former Countdown presenter, 55, is said to have been offered a six-figure deal to take part.

A source told The Sun: “She is well-known and still carries a lot of sex appeal.

“ITV chiefs are also hoping that she will be the brains of the camp. She’s a TV legend and they’re prepared to splash the cash to land her.”

Singer Sarah Harding, Olympian Louis Smith, Emmerdale's Adam Thomas, Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews and UKIP leader Nigel Farage have all been mentioned.

Craig Charles is also allegedly making a return to the show two years after he was forced to pull out on hearing the news of his brother's death.
