Soccer Aid 2016: Celebrity line-up and when to watch - everything you need to know

Stars from the worlds of music, TV, film and comedy will take to the pitch alongside a host of footballing greats for this year’s Soccer Aid competition.

Two teams will battle it out during tonight’s biennial charity match on ITV, to raise money for UNICEF.

Soccer Aid founder Robbie Williams will act as manager for the England team, while One Direction’s Niall Horan is representing the Rest of the World squad.

Celebrities including Olly Murs, Michael Sheen, Damian Lewis and Louis Tomlinson will all show off their footballing prowess this year in a bid to lift that coveted trophy.

Here’s everything you need to know about the match.

Who’s playing?

England will go head-to-head with the Rest of the World team again this year, with both squads featuring a mixture of professional stars and celebrities.

England:

Where is it happening?

This year’s match will take place at Old Trafford, which has hosted the event every year, apart from 2008 when it was held at Wembley.

When is it on?

The sixth edition of the charity match will be broadcast live on ITV from 6pm on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm. Dermot O’Leary and Kirsty Gallacher will present the coverage.
