Georgia May Foote found herself on top of the leader board on Strictly Come Dancing after bagging an impressive 35 points.

The Coronation Street actress put on a creepy Ghostbusters-themed routine to celebrate Halloween on Saturday night, impressing all four judges.

Earlier in the week, the 24-year-old admitted that learning the tango had been physically draining, saying:

“I literally can't move my neck today, it's been hard this week but it's good.”

The actress was closely followed by Jay McGuiness and Helen George who both scored 34 points with for spooky routines.

The Wanted star, who has been a strong contender throughout the competition, dressed as a werewolf for his American Smooth with partner Aliona Vilani.

BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood was at the other end of the spectrum as her dance earned her a measly 13 points.

Despite being praised for her ‘high spirits’, the star was given just two points by Craig Revel Horwood.

Jeremy Vine was given his highest score of the season, with Revel Horwood telling him that his impersonation of a zombie “actually worked really well.”
