Succession season 4 episode 6: the fans react to another mega week

This week the Waystar Royco crew flew to LA for Living+
Shiv in episode six of Succession
Sky/ HBO

Succession spoilers season 1-4 below

Episode six, Living+, was not what we expected, at all. After episode 3, 4 and 5 which were exhilarating beyond belief, all of this week’s shenanigans felt rather subdued.

The episode saw the whole Waystar crew head to LA to launch a new luxury retirement homes product, Living+. There was, naturally, some drama as Kendall and Roman started to lose control as co-CEOs, Gerri was fired (again), Shiv and Tom made some (sort of) amends to their relationship, and Logan popped up in a clip filmed before he died.

But the rest of the storylines – about the GoJo deal, Logan’s estate, Matsson and Shiv, Connor’s presidential race, and the PGM deal, for example – were left completely untouched. We’ll surely find out in the coming weeks what Succession’s brilliant writers were setting up here, and why they decided to go this route.

Fans poured online to talk about the latest episode of the show: here is our pick of this week’s best fan reactions.

Logan still loomed large

Kendall and Roman quickly showed they might not be up to the job

Tom and Shiv were playing games, as usual

People were loving Karl, Gerri and Frank

But thought J. Smith-Cameron’s performance was particularly outstanding

And of course, Nicholas Britell’s score tied it all together

Succession is currently streaming on Sky and NOW
