Tia Latham has become the first contestant to lose her place on Survival of the Fittest.

The 28-year-old model from Buckinghamshire was kicked out of The Lodge after failing to win over the British public.

Viewers were asked to vote to save their favourite girl out of Latham, Georgia Clarke, Georgia Cole, Jenny West and Mariam Musa after the group lost the first team challenge in Sunday night’s episode.

Presenter Laura Whitmore broke the bad news in tonight’s show by telling the boys to pick who they wanted to boot off and replace out of the three girls who received the fewest votes.

She said: “Boys, the fate of the girls is now in your hands.

“As a team you must now decide which girl should be replaced. That girl will leave The Lodge tonight and will be replaced by another girl tomorrow morning. Boys it’s time to make your decision.”

Latham said she has no regrets on being kicked off first as “everything happened the way it was supposed to happen”.

Speaking on leaving she said: “I wouldn’t have done anything differently. I always look to the positive. It was a very beautiful experience and I feel like I’ve left my mark and I’ve still got lots to do – this isn’t the last time you’ll see me.”

She described her short-lived time as “amazing” – but said she had been left with “a few battle wounds” from the gruelling challenges.

Latham hinted at a possible romance with Warren Phillips – who she entered with – but said her loyalties lay “100 per cent” with the Girls.

She said: “I did take a bit of a liking to Warren. I thought he dropped a few hints to me and little compliments. There was definitely something there. Maybe if I’d been in there a bit longer, something might have blossomed but obviously I would have tried to stay focussed on being loyal to the Girls team.”

Monday night’s show also saw waitress Lottie James enter The Lodge after replacing Dani Dyer following her injury.

Survival of the Fittest is on ITV2, tomorrow at 9pm
