Riverdale has a significantly high body count for a teen show, with its characters having to navigate a whole lot of drama on top of their already stressful school lives.

The teen drama regularly takes a dark turn, and nobody is ever safe in the town of Riverdale. Indeed, the entire conceit of the show began with a murder that provided the dramatic beats of the first season.

It can be hard to keep track, however, with many characters coming in and out and significant deaths piling up every season.

Let’s take a look back at everyone who has lost their lives on Riverdale.

Season One

Jason Blossom

The murder that started it all was Jason Blossom, who was shot in the head by none other than his own father, as revealed at the end of season one.

Jason was threatening to reveal the true details of his father Clifford’s illegal drug trade, and was eventually murdered by him.

Mustang

Clifford Blossom was also responsible for the death of Mustang, a member of the Southside Serpents and an accomplice to Jason’s murder. To cover his tracks, Clifford killed Mustang and made it look like a drug overdose.
