Who Wants to be a Millionaire: See if you would have reached last night's £1m question

John Robinson came tantalisingly close to scooping a huge cash prize after becoming the first contestant since 2006 to be asked the million-pound question on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

The English teacher fell at the jackpot question after struggling to correctly answer which former UK prime minister had never served as foreign secretary out of Winston Churchill, Anthony Eden, Harold Macmillan and Alec Douglas-Home.

With no lifelines left he was forced to admit defeat and told host Jeremy Clarkson he would take the £500,000.

There have only been five £1 million winners since the quiz show debuted in 1998 – but do you have the brains and the fastest finger to bag the million pound cash prize?

Test yourself:

Who Wants to be a Millionaire? is on ITV, weeknights at 9pm
