Win a VIP jet tour of royal California with Mauiva AirCruise
10 April 2012

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED

We have teamed up with California Tourism and Mauiva AirCruise to offer readers the chance to win the VIP holiday of a lifetime for two this September, celebrating California's Royal Summer and William and Kate's visit on 8 July.

The Royal couple will only be in California for three days which isn't really enough time to experience all the Golden State has to see and do.

So,we're offering one lucky Evening Standard Reader, and their guest, the opportunity to be part of an exclusive seven-night jet tour departing on 12 September and flying between some of California's highlights including LA, Monterey, San Francisco and Yosemite.

Starting in Los Angeles they will spend two nights at the W Hollywood, right in the heart of the entertainment world, before jetting off for one night at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey. Monterey is known for its famous Aquarium and visitors can get back to nature kayaking amongst the Sea Otters in the Bay, before drinking in the history on Cannery Row and exploring Clint Eastwood's Carmel. The next stop on the tour is San Francisco where they will spend two nights at the Sir Francis Drake hotel, close to Union Square, and one night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fresno, an ideal base for visiting neighbouring Yosemite National Park. All before returning for a final night in Los Angeles.

The winner will also be provided with a T.H.E pass to gain entry to a variety of tours and attractions including the Famous Hollywood Highlights Double Decker Bus Tour, Six Flags theme park, Universal Studios and an LA City Tour by Night and enjoy California's excellent cuisine.

The prize includes flights from London Heathrow to Los Angeles on 12 September, returning on 19 September (to arrive in London on 20 September) and private return airport transfers in Los Angeles.

California Tourism is celebrating The Royal Summer with a range of packages and experiences fit for a King-to-be throughout the state and to suit all budgets. For more information visit www.visitcalifornia.co.uk/royalsummer or call 020 7257 6180.
