34 Mayfair: A go-to for well-heeled diners

Expect statement dining at this sleek Mayfair establishment

With its art deco styling, immaculate service and a sophisticated menu that focuses on steaks and grilled meats, Caprice Holdings’ 34 Mayfair has become a go-to for well-heeled diners in central London. The space comes high on impact, with parquet flooring and soft lighting giving it all the elegance you’d expect from one of Richard Caring’s establishments.

On the menu, a range of ceviches and pokes sit alongside more traditional fare, while the grill section is where 34 comes into its own, Yorkshire heritage breeds sharing menu space with Japanese wagyu beef while dover sole and lobster macaroni do their best to distract. Although far from cheap, 34 Mayfair is an upmarket venue for those seeking to impress.
