Frankie goes to Goodwood: Frankie Dettori jumps on Lawrence Dallaglio
5 April 2012

Goodwood Racecourse has announced that this year's ambassador for Sporting Greats Day will be rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio.

Sporting Greats Day takes place on the opening day of Glorious Goodwood, Tuesday 27th July, and is a celebration of excellence at one Britain's most renowned summer sporting occasions.

It also promotes a charitable cause and this year the beneficiary is Tickets for Troops. As well as welcoming 200 soldiers, sailors and airmen on the day, via the Dallaglio Foundation, Tickets for Troops will benefit from the proceeds of a raceday lunch hosted by Lawrence Dallaglio.

The charity is dedicated to offering free tickets for major cultural and sporting events to serving men and women.

So if you fancy mingling with stars, including Lawrence Dallaglio, while watching world class horse racing at one of the top summer social events tickets start at £15.

For those who would like a more lavish experience, the event will host ten tables of ten people for lunch with each table costing £5,000.
