The good, the bad and the hungry will be well catered for in Whitechapel
Django Bango: Booze, spitting and music in a buckaroo town

A new pop-up is coming to town, and this one has been designed with the good, the bad and the hungry in mind.

Amusingly-named Django Bango will bring a flavour of the Wild West to London’s East End between February and April, with the promise of street food, country music, liquor and lassos — as well as a pretty impressive multi-storey set.

Based in Whitechapel, it will comprise an entire replica buckaroo town built of wood, and will swing its doors open every Friday and Saturday evening between February 19-20 and April 1-2.

It promises ‘sprawling buildings’ and ‘dusty streets’ as well as a saloon bar, a church confessional and general stores selling cowboy clobber.

Wild: Games, confessionals and jail are all features of Django Bango

American street food, beer and liquor can be enjoyed to a backdrop of live country music, either on the streets or in the town's cosier hay-lined houses.

There will also be a gun range, a spitting platoon and lassoing on hand should you fancy a play.

Oh, and we’re warned that there’s the risk of jail time for any outlaws, whatever that means.

Tickets cost £5 and are available at djangobango.com now.
