For most people, the classic kid gangster film, Bugsy Malone, was a childhood cinematic staple. You've probably seen it hundreds of time and know all the words. But you probably haven't seen Future Cinema's, the same whizz kids behind Secret Cinema, all singing all dancing version - it really brings a new meaning to 3D.

The team have transformed the Troxy, a proper old picture palace in the East End into prohibition-era Chicago complete with a live-action boxing ring, cola floats, custard-pie splurge guns (so watch out for your flapper dress - 1920s garb is the order of the day), a casino and popcorn and milkshake stands.

And what's more? You can share this unique immersive interpretation of Alan Parker's 1976 classic with your own children if you have 'em. Over Easter they're staging kid-friendly matinee performances.

Get booking now - tickets are selling like hot cakes.

Bugsy Malone by Future Cinema runs until April 14th. The Troxy Cinema, 490 Commercial Rd, E1 0HX. For more information visit futurecinema.co.uk. Tickets from £10.
