ICA offers public a shot at fame

Photographer Alison Jackson will judge the competition
Staff Reporter5 April 2012

The ICA is offering budding photographers a chance to exhibit their work alongside artists, designers, filmmakers, musicians and models, to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

The Chapman Brothers, Alison Goldfrapp, Peter Blake, Bloc Party and Helena Christensen have all been commissioned to snap their vision of the future on a Sony Ericsson mobile phone for the All Tomorrow's Pictures exhibition.

Their work will also feature in a special hardback book, and the original prints will be auctioned off at a gala event at the end of May.

The 60th contributor will be a member of the public and a competition has been launched to find the winning shot, with photographer Alison Jackson and Bloc Party's Gordon Moakes lined-up as the judges.

The prize also includes a day with a professional photographer, a year's membership at the ICA, a Sony Ericsson K800I Cybershot mobile phone and a Bluetooth printer. To submit your entry, visit www.ica.org.uk/tomorrow.

All Tomorrow's Pictures, a collaboration between the ICA and Sony Ericsson, takes place from 30 May until 8 June at ICA, The Mall, SW1Y, 020 7930 3647. Visit www.ica.org.uk/tomorrow for more information.
