Needles will be working overtime as knitting enthusiasts gather to catch up on the latest gossip while fashioning some mittens or a tea cosy out of a ball of wool.

The I Knit London group meets every Wednesday and the venue changes each week.

There's no age limit and you don't have to be an expert knitter - all you need is yarn, needles and a passion for pearl stitch.
