SE1 Laughter Week

The seven-day festival in Southwark features live comedy gigs, stand-up courses, charity events and funny film shorts.

Six stand-up comics will entertain crowds for free at The Scoop Amphitheatre on Friday night and a collection will be held in aid of Comic Relief.

The next seven days feature a series of comedy events, which culminate in the Laughter Week Finale on Friday 23 March. Here's the full line-up...

Red Nose Day Free show
The Scoop Amphitheatre, More London Riverside, SE1. Friday 16 March, 6pm
Six stand-up comics will be entertaining the crowds in a family comedy night. The event is free but a collection will be held in aid of Comic Relief.

Stand-Up Course, Part One
The Miller of Mansfield, 96 Snowsfields, SE1. Saturday 17 March, 1pm

Falling Down With Laughter's Comedy Ashes
Belushi's Bar, 161-165 Borough High Street, SE1. Saturday 17 March, 8pm
Aussie vs Pommie stand-up comics. Tickets cost £8

Electric Mouse Post Comm Charity Night
Horse Bar, 125 Westminster Bridge Road, Lambeth North, SE1. Monday 19 March, 8pm
Features Nick Revell and Benny Boot. Tickets cost £5 and all proceeds go to Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital.

Comedy Film Shorts
Roxy Bar & Screen, 128-132 Borough High Street, SE1. Tuesday 20 March, 8pm
Features films by Spencer Brown & Mitchell Anderson, Admission is free but donations are welcome.
