BarChick's cocktail of the week: The Rozanne at Drink at Goat

BarChick, doyenne of the London bar scene, tells us what we should be drinking this week ahead of the Chelsea Flower Show - and it involves a secret room
In full bloom: The Rozanne at Goat in Fulham has been created in honour of the purple geranium Rozanne

The drink: The Rozanne

What’s in it? Gin, jasmine syrup, plum bitters and egg white.

Why should we try it? It’s been created in honour of the Chelsea Flower Show’s plant of the century, the purple geranium Rozanne. If you’re seriously into flower power and have got tickets to the show, this long drink is perfect to unwind with after a tiring day on your feet. For those of you who missed out on tickets it’s the perfect way get involved from afar, glass in hand.

Where do we get it? At Goat Drink and Dine on the Fulham Road. We say tell them you need "to repent for your sins" in the hope they give you access to the secret Chelsea Prayer Room upstairs. Welcome to a smouldering den of cocktail perfection and flirting heaven – the ultimate speakeasy. Sink into a Chesterfield in the flickering candlelight and choose your poison from hymn books scattered about. The booze is unmarked just in case there’s a raid, so have your alibis at the ready.

Who do we ask for? Ask for Steve Manktelow, not only did he create the drink but he owns the bar – an all round good guy.

How much is it? £10
