This weekend, the Royal Albert Hall goes techno.

Innervisions, the Berlin-based label founded by Dixon and the duo Âme, will bring a cast of leading DJs and artists to the historic London venue for a dance music showcase.

It will be the largest clubbing-style event ever put on at the venue, with around five hours of house and techno played across the course of the evening. Lots of new material and audiovisual production is promised.

Here is everything you need to know.

When and where is it?

Innervisions takes place on Friday September 21 at the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington. The first act will take to the stage at 6.30pm, with the music running until midnight (timings are approximate).

Line-up

The music will run throughout the course of the evening, with regular intervals, across two stages: one for DJ sets and the other for live performances.

Dixon and Âme are booked in for the headline slots. One half of Âme, Frank Wiedemann, will perform a live set alongside Gudrun Gut and Matthew Herbert, while the other half, Kristian Beyer, will close the night with a b2b set with Dixon.

Before that, Howling, Wiedemann’s side project with folk artist Ry X, will play their only live set of 2018, while German house DJ Henrik Schwarz and Bugge Wesseltoft, the Norwegian jazz musician, will perform collaboratively.

The Croatian visual artist Nina Kurtela will perform a 20-minute contemporary dance piece, while Marcus Worgull, the long-time Innervisions signee, will also take to the decks.
