Eats Everything Residency

XOYO, from Sat Jan 11

The Shoreditch venue is introducing a series of residencies, with four DJs playing 12 consecutive Saturdays throughout 2014. Bristol’s wobbly bass merchant Eats Everything is the first to take-up the mantle, kicking off his run with an all-night long set on January 11. Across his other 11 nights he’ll also be joined by friends including Radio 1’s Heidi, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Brighton’s Maxxi Soundsystem. Look out for the announcement of the three other residents across the year, guaranteed to be big names.

Seth Troxler Goes Clubbing

Fabric, Sat Feb 15 and then quarterly

DJ and international man-of-mystery Seth Troxler – a veteran of the Ibiza and Berlin club scenes – is returning to Farringdon nightspot Fabric. The quarterly residency, which begins on Saturday February 15, complements similar regular spots throughout 2014 at Circo Loco in Ibiza, Trouw in Amsterdam and Ouput in New York, clubs which he says have been integral to his career.

Ten Years of Phonica

Fire, Sat Feb 15

Stalwart West End vinyl shop Phonica turns ten this year and to celebrate, it's releasing a special album and throwing a party under the Vauxhall railway arches. Veteran German producer Henrik Schwarz headlines the celebration, with support from Midland, a UK producer fusing house, techno and dubstep. In room two, German producer Kassem Mosse tops the bill, playing alongside remix masters Psychemagik and promoters krankbrother, who are helping to organise the party. This promises to be an essential date in any dance music purist’s calendar.

XOYO Loves

Coronet Theatre, Sat Mar 15

XOYO continues to venture beyond east London with its XOYO Loves nights, showcasing some of the club’s favourite artists in venues across the capital. Returning in to Elephant & Castle’s Coronet Theatre in March, the organisers have signed up chart-conquering house producer Duke Dumont to headline, with support from Belgian disco spinner The Magician, up-and-coming house duo Waze & Odyssey and more.

Clockwork Orange 21st Birthday

Fire, Sat Mar 22

Clockwork Orange was legendary in the 90s for its hedonistic romps in London and Ibiza, helping to define a decade of raves, whistles and house music. Although the parties eventually wound down as the decade dwindled, founders Danny Gould and Andy Manston intermittently bring back the beast. To celebrate the night’s 21st anniversary, the pair have enlisted many of the original DJs – covering house, techno, disco, Balearic and more – as well as special guest drum’n’bass veteran Grooverider.

We Are FSTVL

Damyns Hall Aerodrome, May 24-25

After a storming debut onto the arguably overcrowded festival scene last year, We Are FSTVL returns with an absolutely storming line-up. The two-day event in Upminster features chart toppers Disclosure, Fatboy Slim and Duke Dumont, as well as electronic music heavyweights such as Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones and Ricardo Villalobos. Alongside the big names there’s also a host of established and emerging artists across the dance music spectrum. Well worth the trip up the district line.
