Taste assessment: Quite simply, amazeballs. These chocolate chips were so good that not only did they break my post-holidays diet (saintfully stuck to for the past week) but several members of our features team declared them the “Best. Cookie. EVER”. Why? Because they are home-made — and taste like it. Delivered by housebite, a takeaway service where food is cooked by chefs in your area, they had a good dough-to-cookie ratio, were sweet without being sickly and, crucially, only part-cooked in the centre. Alice from SE5 — we salute you. Even if my waistline doesn’t.
