Madeleine Shaw on her new YouTube channel Wild Dish and the foods she loves to cook

Toby Earle visits the nutritionist and cookery writer in the Wild Dish kitchen

To prepare a wild dish there’s no need to enter perilous environments and risk injury while hunting for dinner, not when the simpler alternative is to watch Wild Dish, a new YouTube channel presented by food blogger Madeleine Shaw and chef Gizzi Erskine.

While Shaw presents some of her favourite recipes in the Wild Dish kitchen, Erskine has tripped across continents in search of some of the most delicious and healthy grub to be found on these shores and beyond. Incredibly, this even includes a posh and non-shame-inducing kebab which deserves not to be eaten while sobbing at a bus stop at 3am.

I put down my kebab to visit Shaw in the Wild Dish kitchen to find out more about the recipes which thrill her, the latest trends the show will be covering, and whether I’ll be allowed to have my kebab back, which the crew confiscated from me.
