1 Easter Egg Trio gift box, Demarquette

What: six small hand painted milk chocolate eggs made using banoffee, key lime and sea salted caramels.

2 Lattice Egg, Harrods

What: an intriguing nest design handmade in Belgium where the liquid chocolate is drizzled and set several times to build up layers. It takes several days to create.

3 Sunny duck egg, Artisan du Chocolat

What: crème brûlée milk chocolate shell with an adorable chick design and filled with couture chocolates, pearls, liquid salted caramels and a selection of mini eggs filled with dark and milk ganaches, macadamia coconut praline, lime coulis and Jamaican long pepper.

5 Fondant-Coloured Milk Medium Egg, Melt

What: a candy-striped milk chocolate egg filled with half-moon shaped mini eggs.

6 Bird of Paradise eggs, Rococo

What: three types of mini eggs (each one splits in half) made with one of three fruit caramels - Kalamansi lime, passion fruit and rosemary, and mandarin tonka bean - and decorated by hand.
