FriendsFest: Interactive Friends experience coming to London

Friends is coming to London, and you can be part of it – sort of.

When FriendsFest launches on Brick Lane in September it will give fans of the hit sitcom the chance to walk into a full scale set of Monica’s apartment, grab a coffee in Central Perk and browse original props and memorabilia from the show.

Visitors will be able to look for Ugly Naked Guy through the apartment’s back window, stand in the kitchen where Rachel once created meat trifle and sit on the sofas that have been home to so many highs, lows and laughs over the years.

There will also be the opportunity to visit a pop-up “Rachel” blow dry salon, hang out in a New York themed courtyard, enjoy a game of foosball with your own friends or partake in a favourite pastime of Joey and Chandler and recline on a lazy boy while watching episodes of the show.

There’s something for every fan – whether you’re a geeky Ross or a clean-freak Monica, or like to think of yourself as a lothario Joey or way-out Phoebe.

The experience will run for just five days from Wednesday September 16 to Sunday September 20 at The Boiler House on Brick Lane. It is being hosted by Comedy Central UK to celebrate the channel remaining the exclusive home of Friends on TV in the UK.

Tickets are available from midday today (August 12) and cost £5 for a two hour slot. They’re likely to go fast, get them at comedycentral.co.uk/friendsfest.

It’s bound to be a lot of fun, even if your job's a joke, you're broke and your love life's D.O.A.
