A giant Instagrammable cherry blossom facade is in London

Neon pretty: Find the shockingly pink sakura at Mayfair restaurant Sexy Fish

Walk around London of late and you'll probably notice one thing – a mass of floral facades on every single storefront in Zone 1.

Ring a bell? Good. It's basically a very clever marketing ploy expertly curated by the city's marketing experts to target the capital's Instagram posse and influencers in the hope they snap, post and share every single blossom-ridden business they come across.

The latest establishment to take advantage of the bloomin' pretty trend is Mayfair gaff Sexy Fish, who in collaboration with designers Early Hours Ltd have created a giant, bright, electric neon pink cherry blossom to celebrate sakura season.

Their reason behind the extravagant installation is simple: cherry blossoms are revered in Japan for their symbolic and religious significance and as a result, draw in thousands upon thousands of tourists every year to marvel at the white and pink beauties. Sexy Fish is also a Japanese restaurant, so it's pretty obvious really, isn't it?

Eye catching: the Sexy Sakura designed by Early Hours LTD

Overlooking Berkeley Square, the impressive thing wraps around the entire entrance of the restaurant and takes inspiration from the Japanese ritual of Hanami. If you're clueless, Hanami is the traditional custom of welcoming spring (if it ever comes) by appreciating the transient beauty of flowers. In a nutshell, nature was basically made for the 'gram.

In addition to all that flower power, you can also get yours hands on a specially sculpted cake created by Sebastian Davies – and yes, it is indeed shaped like a sakura. Think Swiss meringue buttercream, sprouting blossoms crafted from icing sugar, rich Belgian chocolate, a soil of Oreo cookies and vanilla sponge.

Alternatively, you could just get bladdered in the bar with a cherry blossom inspired cocktail...
