Bubblewrap Waffle are handing out their Hello Kitty cone for free

Bubblewrap Waffle are welcoming a special visitor to their Soho site tomorrow as Hello Kitty herself swings by.

On Friday September 21, between noon and 4pm, the world’s most famous feline will be handing out 50 of the waffles she inspired, absolutely free.

The Standard took a first look at the waffle, seen in the video above, which features a red velvet waffle base filled with rose and strawberry gelato, and is topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and slices of fresh strawberries. A Kitty chocolate sits astride it all.

The Insta-friendly treat is already proving popular as hordes of hungry foodies and Hello Kitty fans have been queueing up to get their hands on the cone.

The sweet treat itself is limited edition, available until September 30.
