Ceviche: Party Peruvian-style with Pisco Sour in hand

You'll never guess what this Peruvian restaurant serves...
Plentiful Peruvian dishes at Ceviche

You can probably guess what you’re going to find a lot of at Ceviche. True, there’s a lot of love for the Peruvian national dish that it is named after, but Ceviche also demonstrates chef Martin Morales’ passion for Peruvian music, Peruvian art – and partying Peruvian-style with a Pisco Sour in hand.

The eponymous dish of raw fish cured in a citrus-based marinade (called Tiger’s Milk in Peru and on Morales’ menu) is served up multiple ways at Ceviche, ranging from creamy to nasal-clearing spice, all with that distinctive lime zing, with slightly differing options at their Soho and Old Street menus. Don Ceviche reigns over both menus, a spicy, heavenly light concoction of marinated fresh sea bass, sweet potato (chunks and crisps), red onion, coriander and Amarillo chilli tiger’s milk.

If you’re in the no-raw-fish brigade, there is plenty more to this sharing menu, with grilled meats, fish and even vegetarian versions of ceviche (most ceviche dishes are gluten free, incidentally). In recent years, Martin Morales has added Andina and Casita Andina to his brood, and it’s a very happy family indeed.
