The holiday season is for spending time with friends and family and gorging on delicious treats, and one shop is ensuring guests can do just that — by offering a Christmassy afternoon tea.

Belgravia's Dominique Ansel Bakery is launching a festive afternoon tea on November 23, with each sweet treat crafted to look like a bauble or tree decoration.

The seasonal tea will run until December 30, so there will be plenty of time to get your hands on the adorable creations.

Each bite will resemble a miniature ornament. The mini 'reindeer' will be filled with a spiced chocolate mousse and the jolly ‘Santa' will contain an orange mousse fruity gelée. It will also offer a whimsical take on a traditional mince pie and savoury Christmas ‘trees’.

Scones get a yuletide twist too — they will be served with golden star truffles containing homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream inside, which can be spread onto the baked goods.

The Christmassy tea will be priced at £42 and will run Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.

Reservations open from November 16, 17-21 Elizabeth St, SW1W 9RP, dominiqueansellondon.com
