Help save the Kiwi with gbk

Tuck in: The Kiwiburger
10 April 2012

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is kick starting Spring by doing their bit to help save New Zealand's endangered Kiwi.

For every Kiwi burger purchased from the new Spring Menu, gbk will make a voluntary donation on your behalf of 25p which will go to help save the iconic New Zealand Kiwi in Whakatane (pronounced far-car-tar-neh).

The Kiwiburger is a tower of mouth watering, fresh ingredients with lashings of Kiwi charm – beetroot, egg, pineapple, cheese, relish and salad atop a 100% Aberdeen Angus Beef Burger cooked just the way you like it, for £8.35 including a voluntary 25p donation to the Whakatane Kiwi Trust.

So you can indulge happy in the knowledge you're helping to protect the cute little Kiwi all the way over in New Zealand.

The first 50,000 customers will get a gbk Whakatane Kiwi Trust charity wrist band too.
