Pop-up cook and resident This Morning chef Jimmy Garcia will open a permanent diner within a renovated entertainment complex next month.

Jimmy’s Diner will launch as part of indoor ice skating and entertainment complex Queens on Queensway, which originally opened in 1930.

The centre, which is getting a new lease after more than 85 years, will open on December 8 with a modernised version of the rink it launched back in 1930, plus space for bowling, arcade games, two bar areas and the eat-in diner.

Garcia will serve feel-food American-inspired dishes including Parliamentary Pulled Pork, made from 18-hour slow-roast braised barbecue pork shoulder; honey and mustard-glazed sausages; crispy chicken wings; and build-your-own burgers.

The bars will serve a selection of craft beers, wines and cocktails, with one of the two available for private hire.
