KERB to launch one-day food and music festival Jam on Rye

Ailis Brennan7 March 2018

Street food celebrants KERB have announced their first one-day food and music festival, which will kick off on May’s Bank Holiday Monday.

Jam on Rye will take place at Peckham Rye Park on May 28, and will be a celebration of sound system culture and London’s best street food.

Reggae, afrobeat and new wave jazz will be the musical order of the day, with sets from the likes of Reggae Roast, David Rodigan, Horace Andy, Mungo’s HiFi, alongside a second stage hosted by south London club connoisseurs Wormfood.

Providing the eats will be some of London’s favourite street food purveyors, including taco-lovers Breddos, as well as White Men Can’t Jerk and Only Jerkin’, who will be serving up tasty treats with a Caribbean twist.

If music be the food of love, then we know where you should be this May Bank Holiday.

Tickets start at £20. For more information, visit kerbfood.com/jamonrye
