Sodo Pizza Café: Stonebaked sourdough to write home about

Sourdough focused crusts with the perfect finishing touch
Sodo: Serious about its sourdough
Ben Norum20 December 2017

They keep it simple when it comes to the setting, but go all out where the pizza is concerned. The name stands for sourdough, and that’s something they take particularly seriously. All the pizza dough is fermented for 48 hours and then baked at over 450° so that its light and airy with plenty of that sourdough ‘tang’.

With such great bases it makes sense to keep toppings simple, but special kudos must go to the brilliantly named Jon Bon Chovy topped with anchovies, olives, capers, chilli and fresh parsley.

There are branches in Hoxton, Clapton and Walthamstow.
