If you’re looking for a night more Swedish than Sven-Goran Eriksson listening to ABBA while building an IKEA bookcase, then Michelin-starred London restaurant Aquavit has the solution.

The Swedish restaurant is teaming up with yet another Michelin-starred establishment for a very Scandinavian feast.

Magnus Ek of two Michelin-starred restaurant Oaxen Krog in Stockholm is heading to London to collaborate on a special menu with Aquavit’s executive chef Henrik Ritzen.

On March 13, the two will be serving up a six-course ode to their home country’s heritage, with dishes including veal tartar with cauliflower and dill, beech wood smoked mackerel with Jerusalem artichoke soured cream and crab apple and duck with chanterelles, Yorkshire rhubarb and a Swedish curd cheesecake.

The meal will cost £95 per head, with the option of a £55 wine pairing available to top it all off.

The original Aquavit restaurant in New York has held two Michelin stars since 2015, and the London restaurant received one Michelin star less than a year after its opening.
