Whether you call it Golden Milk or turmeric latte, it contains frothy milk and the super spice turmeric, and it's both delicious and good for you. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, excellent for the immune system, and full of antioxidants. We like ours with a dash of agave and cinnamon, but whatever your preference, here are the best in town.

Friends of Ours

The turmeric latte at this trendy hotspot carries a massive health punch: the drink is made with freshly squeezed turmeric and ginger juice - the perfect antidote to a cold. It's made using steamed oat milk, keeping it vegan and plant friendly. It's bright and cosy at Friends of Ours, so you can take your laptop and make a day of it.

Deliciously Ella has built up quite a following as a healthy eating advocate, so it's no surprise the turmeric latte at her cafe is one of the best in town. Try it with coconut milk, and if you can resist a peanut butter cookie to accompany, you're stronger than we are.

Flotsam & Jetsam

This Antipodean-style cafe has one of the best all-day menus around. Choose your non-dairy milk option (soy, oat, coconut or almond) and order your turmeric latte with a large side of eggs. All-yellow-everything is the way to go here.

Good Life Eatery

The food and drink at Good Life Eatery just leaves you feeling, well, good. We're partial to its green juices and the brownie bites are out of this world - they actually taste too naughty to be truly healthy. The turmeric latte at Good Life is a game changer: it may even kick your morning espresso habit.

Starbucks

We know, we know - it's a huge chain and there's one on every corner, but that just means easy access to this turmeric latte. A fairly recent addition to the Starbucks menu, this one packs a caffeine punch, as the drink is essentially a standard espresso latte, with a shot of turmeric and steamed milk added.
