Neil Jones appears to have gone public with his new girlfriend, almost one year after splitting from wife and fellow Strictly Come Dancing star Katya.

The professional dancer, 37, alluded to a new romance last week in an Instagram question and answer session with fans and now seems to have confirmed that he is dating Colombian dancer Luisa Eusse.

The couple went Instagram official on Wednesday evening when Jones shared a loved-up black and white photo showing him kissing Eusse on the forehead, captioning it simply with a heart emoji.

His girlfriend, meanwhile, posted an atmospheric shot of her and Jones standing hand in hand by a river as the sun set.

She also shared a short video clip on her Instagram story showing Jones kissing her neck as they stood in a lift.

Jones’ Strictly co-stars appeared to approve of the new romance, with fellow professional dancer Gorka Marquez joking “that’s why the last two weeks you’ve been asking me to translate [Spanish].”

Eusse also shared a loved-up post on her Instagram story

Eusse, who hails from Medellin in Colombia, also works as a model.

Jones and former wife Katya announced that they would be parting ways after 11 years together and six years of marriage last August, shortly before the start of the 2019 series of Strictly.

The news came 10 months after Katya was pictured kissing her Strictly dance partner Seann Walsh on a night out, but the couple insisted that this was not the reason for the break-up and instead said that their relationship had become more of a friendship.

“We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends,” they said in a joint statement. “This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.

"Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.

"We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can't wait to keep on dancing.”
