England full-back Elliot Daly will make his first appearance since rugby’s restart when Saracens take on Gloucester on Wednesday.

Daly has been absent since the Premiership returned earlier this month with a hamstring injury, but he’s now back fit.

The 27-year-old will also start at outside centre for the first time in his Saracens’ career since joining them from Wasps last year.

Daly has previously expressed his desire to play in the position more, but is predominately used on the wing or at full-back by both club and country.

In total, Saracens have made 14 changes as they welcome Gloucester to Allianz Park on Wednesday, with wing Elliott Obatoyinbo the only survivor from Saturday’s win over Harlequins.

Ben Harris and Will Hooley are set to make their debuts, while hooker Tom Woolstencroft will captain the team for the first time.
