Grammy-nominated technical musician John Oram, who worked with The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, is selling his Kent home.

Grade II listed, The Old Forge, dates from 1260 but has a modern edge.

Oram added a huge, soundproofed studio which he used to record scores for film-maker George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises.

The grounds include a peg tiled barn, with permission for a two-bedroom detached cottage annexe.

Nearby Meopham station is only a 30-minute journey from Victoria, so this is a great one for commuters.

Oram, who is moving to Spain, is seeking £925,000 through Hunters in Gravesend.
