Money for nothing: Sting and Trudie Styler set to make a staggering profit as they list NY flat for £43 million
Sting and actress wife Trudie Styler, are set to more than double their money with the sale of their spacious duplex flat in New York, on the market with Sotheby’s International Realty for £43.2 million.
Designed by Driehaus Architecture Prize winner Robert AM Stern, the penthouse offers 43 feet of frontage on Central Park with city views from grand windows and a 396sq ft terrace.
It has three bedrooms, a library, four bathrooms, a home office and a sculptural staircase that leads to a living room with a grand fireplace.
The apartment is in 15 Central Park West, an iconic limestone-clad building with a residents’ fitness centre and spa, a screening room, private restaurant and a wine room.
The British rocker was one of the first buyers, paying about £20.8 million in 2008.
