Ed Sheeran’s Suffolk neighbours claim he is hiding an outdoor swimming pool behind a wall of hay bales.

In 2016 the singer was granted permission to create a wildlife pond, with planning officials insisting it should have no recreational purpose.

However, aerial pictures of the pond appear to show it painted bright blue with changing rooms and a diving jetty.

East Suffolk council allowed the jetty and steps for maintenance or for use in the event of an emergency but neighbours fear the singing superstar could hold noisy pool parties and disturb their peace.

Sheeran’s not short of entertainment spaces at Wynneys Hall, near Framlingham.

There’s an indoor swimming pool, a four-room treehouse, a basement cinema and music room and four “spare houses”.
