Gardening expert Pattie Barron reveals her findings from behind-the-scenes access at the Chelsea Flower Show as organisers added the finishing touches.

Held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the first show was held in 1862 by the Royal Horticultural Society, and each garden is designed differently depending on a theme.

Highlights of the five-day event include a photography exhibition and floral arch to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, a twilight evening event - with a concert hosted by Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra - while an acoustic garden inspired by world-leading percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie will serenade visitors with musical notes.

Tickets are still available from The Ticket Factory, with prices from £100 for all-day entry and £50 for entry after 3.30pm.
