Opportunities for Easter weekend watersports in London are more plentiful than many people realise.

Two giant reservoirs in Stoke Newington have become a well-used urban amenity, with a watersports club offering sailing, canoeing, paddle-boarding and other activities. Club memberships cost from £105 per year.

A Victorian pumping station has been converted into a climbing centre and there is also a nature reserve with a “trim trail” for joggers.
