Park Royal fire: 100 firefighters tackle blaze at industrial unit in west London

One hundred firefighters tackled a blaze at an industrial laundry unit in west London.

Fifteen fire engines were called to Sunbeam Road in Park Royal at 2.19am.

The London Fire Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 13 calls to the blaze.

Fire crews from Park Royal, Acton, North Kensington, Ealing, Chiswick, Wembley and surrounding stations were called to the scene.

Pictures shared by the brigade on Twitter showed flames billowing from the single-storey unit.

The fire was under control by 5.32am, a spokesperson for the LFB said.

Most of the laundry unit was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
