Socialite-turned-interiors guru Fran Hickman, whose previous projects include Soho House, Chess Club and Benedict Cumberbatch’s family home, has thrilled Chelsea’s finest with her design concept for the new Escada fashion flagship store in Sloane Street.

At the recent launch were DJ/model Zara Martin and the model and ex-Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh plus actress Camilla Rutherford and singer Tallia Storm.

Elegant and inviting, inspiration for the interiors has been taken from ancient Japanese art and the classical designs of British architect and furniture designer TH Robsjohn-Gibbings (1905-1976).

The walls feature gold cascading leaves, hand-painted with an ombré effect. Styled with colourful objets d’art and iconic literature, it is a luxurious addition to Belgravia’s high-end boutique shopping scene — and perfect for a bit of star spotting.
