A rather unusual home which comes with an iconic recording studio is for sale.

The Studio in Cornwall first opened in 1974 and has since developed a reputation as one of the world’s most unique recording environments.

The Stone Roses, The Verve, Oasis, Muse and Robert Plant are just a few of the musicians who have worked there.

It is where Oasis recorded their smash album Definitely Maybe, while Muse created Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry there.

On Strutt & Parker’s books for £2.25 million, The Old Sawmills is quite the package.

As well as a recording studio, control room and three isolation booths, it comes with a self-contained two-bedroom lodge and four further outbuildings, two private pontoons, a private creek, a mooring on the Fowey estuary and 32 acres of woodland.

The main house has seven bedrooms, a conservatory, a terrace and an open-plan kitchen and living room.

Accessible only by boat, this is a true oasis for someone seeking a slice of Brit rock history.
