Mulberry Walk has long been home to the rich and famous. Former residents include Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, ex-Chelsea football club manager Gianluca Vialli and Laurence Olivier.

Now one of the most prestigious properties on the street is for sale. The family home comprises eight bedrooms, six bathrooms and a garden designed by Lord Kenilworth, known professionally as Randle Siddeley.

The house once belonged to Major Philip Colville, whose mother Cynthia was Lady in Waiting to Queen Mary and invited the British monarch to tea.

It has recently been styled by Belgravia-based interior designer to the stars Joanna Wood.

Listed with Aylseford International for £15.75 million, this is a big budget beauty.
