What happened on Love Island last night? Leanne Amaning's dramatically dumped as Mike Boateng goes grafting
Love Island viewers have been left reeling after Wednesday (January 29) night's dramatic episode saw a fan favourite booted out of the villa.
A shock recoupling saw Sophie Piper and Leanne Amaning desperately fighting to not be booted off the show, while Rebecca Gormley took her rivalry with Siannise Fudge up a level.
Paige Turley and Finlay Tapp have also taken their relationship up a notch while Mike Boateng, fresh from his split from Leanne, grafted hard almot every single woman in the villa.
And there's good news for everyone - Nas Majeed has finally thought of himself for a change (much to the chagrin of the some Islanders).

What happened on Love Island last night?
- Well, well, well - where do we start? The Islanders were stunned when Luke received a text telling them there would be a recoupling
- Sophie and Leanne - who were at risk of being dumped from the villa - were then seen attempting to convince Nas to couple up with them in an attempt to stay on the show
- Nas ignored their pleas and went with his heart to pick Demi Jones
- This left Mike choosing between Sophie and Leanne and unsurprisingly (but still dramatically) he gave Leanne the boot
- Shaughna's face when Mike chose to couple up with Sophie was a picture - while Leanne, who had pied Mike off earlier in the week, said his decision felt like "karma" for her actions
- Elsewhere in the episode, Rebecca and Siannise continue to be a loggerheads over breach of the infamous "girl code", with the Geordie accusing Luke T of "swanning around" with Siannise and asking for a bit more respect from him
- Luke T told Rebecca that he had a "better connection" with Siannise, who told the other Islanders : "I’m glad I stood my ground and I’m glad I vocalised how I felt and I’m glad that didn’t stop me from getting to know him. If I didn’t try, I’d have never known."
- Tthe two got close during the episode, sharing a kiss on the beds
- In the recoupling Luke T picked the Bristol beauty queen to pair up with, leaving Wallace to couple up with Rebecca
- After Leanne told Mike she just wasn't into him, he was seen cracking on with the other women in the villa, and in particular Sophie and Jess, who shot him down straight away
- Meanwhile, Leanne admitted she missed his company as she moped around the villa, telling Jess: "It's always nice to have someone there"
- The Islanders were told the Hideaway was open - with Paige and Finn becoming the first pair to spend a night in there
- Things certainly appeared to get spicy, with Paige telling the girls the next day: "I mean there was like kissing..."

How long is Love Island on for?
While ITV2 has yet to confirm the finale date, they have stated the show will run for around six weeks, like its summer version.
