For many years One Spring Terrace was Richmond’s Registry office, frequently used by celebrities and socialites to tie the knot.

It has hosted some illustrious weddings including those of Twiggy and Michael Witney, Jemima Goldsmith and Imran Khan, Anita Dobson and Brian May, and Fearne Cotton and Jessie Wood.

But its last wedding was in 2015 and the property has since been converted into a seven-bedroom home.

Set behind a façade of mellow stock brick, its 4,700 sq ft sprawl across two floors.

The snazzier rooms include a cinema and a glass dining room with an exposed brick wall, which connects with the kitchen and adjoins the playroom.

The Grade II listed house is for sale at £5.25 million with Savills and offers a special sort of nostalgia.
