Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas is leaving Los Angeles and moving back to London next month.

The “Queen of Latin” is selling her California home for £1.2 million and has been renovating a house in Dulwich, in what has become a seven-month makeover.

Ballas, 58, Strictly’s chief judge, had used her Dulwich home previously as a dance school, with alumni including Derek Hough, a professional on American TV’s Dancing with the Stars contest.

Ballas misses her mother, Audrey, who lives in south London — and her return to the UK might also have something to do with her reportedly flourishing romance with actor Daniel Taylor, 44, who she met at Christmas when they both starred in panto in Liverpool.
