Fallout, the latest instalment in the Mission: Impossible spy film franchise, sees Tom Cruise climb London landmarks, from St Paul’s Cathedral and Blackfriars Bridge to Tate Modern’s 115ft-high Turbine Hall.

The Hollywood action man, 56, is set to scale new heights at home, too, with renovations at the stunning duplex Florida penthouse he is believed to have bought off-plan two years ago.

The opulent new home in Clearwater is a few blocks from the HQ of the Church of Scientology, which he joined in 1990.

The multimillion-pound penthouse dubbed the SkyView, will feature a rooftop pool and outdoor dining area, along with a private cinema and games room.

There is also a bespoke flight simulator room where Cruise could rehearse daredevil stunts, and a private entrance with a car elevator.

Cruise has sold off a large chunk of his Hollywood property portfolio, including his Beverly Hills mega mansion.
